Our Candles

Each of our candles is made to bring a sense of place into the room: the crisp air of an orchard in October, the quiet of a winter evening, the first warm days of spring. We hand-pour every candle in small batches, choosing fragrances that feel layered and natural rather than sweet or overpowering.

We use a premium soy and palm wax blend for a smooth, even burn and a strong scent throw. Each candle comes with a braided cotton wick or a natural wood wick. Many of our fragrances are infused with essential oils for added depth and a more natural finish.

Our vessels are chosen with the same care as our scents. They're designed to look beautiful on a shelf long after the candle is gone.

Available Sizes

• Large, 12 oz: Poured in a softly curved glass vessel in Clay Mauve, a muted mauve with a warm brown undertone. The exterior has an iridescent shimmer over a glossy colored interior. Approx. 3.8" wide × 4.4" tall.

• Medium, 7.5 oz: Poured in a clean, straight-sided glass vessel in translucent white that glows softly when lit. Approx. 2.9" wide × 3.6" tall.

We want you to love your order. If something isn't right, here's how we can help.

Candles: All Sales Final

Because our candles are hand-poured and scent is such a personal preference, all candle sales are final. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges on candles, whether used or unused. If your candle arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, please see "Damaged or Incorrect Items" below and we'll make it right.

Returns on Home Decor and Accessories

Unused home decor, faux florals, and candle accessories in their original condition and packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery. To start a return, email us at [email] with your order number and the item you'd like to return.

Items We Can't Accept for Return

• All candles

• Sale or clearance items

• Faux stems that have been reshaped or styled

• Gift cards

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If any item in your order, including a candle, arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, please email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or issue a full refund, including shipping, at no cost to you.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, since we can't be responsible for returns lost in transit.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll email you to confirm. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Exchanges

If you'd like a different home decor item or accessory, let us know when you request your return and we'll help arrange an exchange.

Shipping Policy

At Solomon + Co., each order is carefully packaged and prepared with intention. Please allow time for your order to be processed before it ships.

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. During busy seasons, product launches, holidays, or high-volume order periods, processing times may be slightly extended.

Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information, if applicable.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.

Please review your shipping address carefully before placing your order. Solomon + Co. is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout.

Shipping Times

Once your order has been shipped, delivery times may vary depending on the shipping carrier, destination, weather conditions, holidays, or other delays outside of our control.

Solomon + Co. is not responsible for carrier delays once an order has been shipped.

Damaged Packages

We take great care in packaging each order. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at ashlylynn21@gmail.com with your order number and clear photos of the damaged item and packaging.

We will review the issue and determine whether a replacement, store credit, or other resolution may be appropriate.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Once a package has been marked as delivered by the carrier, Solomon + Co. is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

If your package is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please check with your local carrier, neighbors, or household members. You may also need to file a claim directly with the shipping carrier.

Local Pickup

If local pickup is available, you may select that option at checkout. Pickup instructions will be provided once your order is ready.

Orders must be picked up within [1 day for flowers, 7 days for all other candles and home decor] of notification unless otherwise arranged.

Final Sale Notice

Please note that all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed. Please review your order and shipping information carefully before completing your purchase.

Candle Care: Cotton Wick

• First burn matters. Let the wax melt all the way to the edges before blowing it out, about 3 to 4 hours for the large and 2 to 3 hours for the medium. This keeps the candle from tunneling and helps it burn evenly for its whole life.

• Trim the wick to ¼" before each burn. A shorter wick gives a cleaner flame and less soot.

• A gentle curl is normal. Our braided cotton wicks are designed to bend slightly as they burn.

• Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time, then let the candle cool completely before relighting.

• Stop burning when ½" of wax remains in the bottom of the vessel.

• Place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, curtains, and anything flammable.

• Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.

• Reuse the vessel. Once your candle is finished, scoop out the remaining wax and hand wash the jar with warm, soapy water. It makes a lovely catchall or small planter.

Candle Care: Wood Wick

• First burn matters. Let the wax melt all the way to the edges before blowing it out, about 3 to 4 hours for the large and 2 to 3 hours for the medium. This keeps the candle from tunneling and helps it burn evenly for its whole life.

• Trim the wick to about ⅛" before each burn. Once the candle has cooled, gently pinch off the charred edge with your fingers or a wick trimmer. A short wood wick burns brighter and crackles best.

• Light at an angle. Tilt the candle slightly and hold the flame along the length of the wick for a few seconds. Wood wicks can take a moment longer to catch than cotton.

• Enjoy the crackle. The soft crackling sound is part of the experience and a sign the wick is burning well.

• If the flame gets small, the wick may be too long or the melt pool too deep. Extinguish, let it cool, trim, and relight.

• Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time, then let the candle cool completely before relighting.

• Stop burning when ½" of wax remains in the bottom of the vessel.

• Place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, curtains, and anything flammable.
